Small Medieval Pitcher for Wine, Mead & Single Serving

This small handmade medieval pitcher is made for personal serving. At a compact 600 ml / 20 oz, it's the right size for one — pour your own mead, wine, or water without reaching for a heavy vessel, or set it out as a charming individual jug at the table. A hand-carved ornament wraps the belly, and the squat, comfortable silhouette makes it easy to hold and pour.

The jug is crafted from natural red clay, traditionally high-fired, then milk-coated and fired again — an old historical method that strengthens the surface and gives the pottery its warm, earthy tone. It is left unglazed, so the natural texture of the clay stays visible and true to period.

Its small size makes it ideal for medieval festivals, historical reenactments, LARP events, Renaissance fairs, tavern setups, and cozy rustic interiors. Use it as a personal wine or mead jug, a small water pitcher, a tasting vessel, or even a rustic creamer — practical enough for everyday use, characterful enough to be part of the experience.

Each piece is handcrafted from red clay, so no two are exactly alike. Small variations in shape, color, and texture are natural and are the mark of true handmade work. It also makes a memorable gift for lovers of medieval culture, fantasy worlds, and one-of-a-kind pottery.
